ConerStones of Recovery
Cornerstones of Recovery (CORE) is a movement that organizes and holds Big Book events, including workshops, days’ of sharing, conventions, and conferences.
The CORE of the AA program is the Big Book or Alcoholics Anonymous, and the how the practice of the principles taught within it through the twelve steps; enlightens, establishes and enlarges our inner spiritual lives. We suffer from a spiritual malady, how our thinking minds delude into thinking a false sense of self, that we base all of our ideas and decisions on, driven by a self centered fear so deep and rooted that only a thorough cleansing process can help us to change the course or destruction apparent within our lives.
Cornerstones of Recovery needs your help to make it successful. We cannot do this our selves. If you are a real alcoholic and are ready to become immersed within thsi program and stand on the firing lines of the solution, inching closer to helping others who are blocked by the egoic thinking mind from their own salvation, peace of mind and freedom from alcoholism, then please join our cause.
There are free outlines for running a Cornerstones of Recovery event in your area. We will help you every step of the way, and in some cases where ossible, we can even attend your event, and take part in the administration aspects to help you through the process.
“Ultimately there is but one authority, a loving God as He may express Himself within the group conscious.” But remember that where there is no God consciousness within the group, there can be little expression coming from a loving God. Our loving God is always there and always patient and tolerant of us, and always waits for us to be ready and to come to Him. But for as long as we continue to mastermind our own destiny and to calculate and contemplate our fate as we would have it, there is but little God can do but to meet us with the fate of that destiny of which we have chosen, how little of a plan it may have been.
You can take part in this process by helping make the Big Book message available through an event that is fun to go to, and a message that is very clear cut and concise. By holding these events, we offer the audience a host of speakers who have had an experience with the work, who have the ability to convey a pertenant message, and the solution to a delama of a life of pain and suffering trapped within a spiritual dilemma.
We are not out to help everyone. But those who are ready to discover for themselves the message of the solution contained within the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, will be receptive and listen, become enlightened and will start to take action in a new direction within their lives and bring about a miraculous change that will make a difference within the fellowship of AA and perpetuate throughout time.
